Structurally, the three windings in a three-phase motor are symmetrically distributed in the stator. The rotation direction of three-phase motors can be changed by simply altering the connections of any two of the wires. Three-phase motors have a relatively straightforward structure, making them robust, durable, and easy to maintain. They are commonly used in industrial applications requiring higher torque.
